Organization
- It is extremely important that you manage your computer so that you can easily locate and access your information. Just as a well-organized notebook is an excellent study tool, so is an organized computer.
- You will create a folder on your desktop for class. Everything for this course needs to be in this folder.
- It will also be necessary for you to create folders within this main folder that will house different pieces of work. You could have a folder for each unit we will study, for example.
- If you download something from the internet, it will most likely be saved into your downloads folder. You should move it to the appropriate folder so that it is more easily accessible.
File Naming
When e-mailing a file as an attachment OR sharing a file with Mrs. Beheler in Google Docs, the name of the file should be clear and to the point, and preferably have your name in it somewhere. See the class website for more tips on file naming and organization.
